From March 28th to 30th, guests of the Nice property will in fact find themselves transported to the Monte Argentario peninsula, where the Tyrrhenian breeze carries the scent of citrus and rosemary, and where Il Pellicano has, for decades, defined the pinnacle of Mediterranean glamour.
The exclusive pop-up is more than just a meeting of two hotels; it’s a convergence of culinary philosophies. The team from Il Pellicano – our Chef Michelino Gioia and his brilliant team, as well as legendary Barman Federico Morosi – will take over the kitchen at Le Restaurant du Couvent, crafting an elevated yet deeply soulful menu inspired by the flavours of Tuscany’s Maremma region, from handmade pasta enriched with the depth of local produce to desserts that balance nostalgia with finesse.
On the agenda? Two decadent dinners (March 28th & 29th) and two indulgent lunches (March 29th & 30th), each an ode to Il Pellicano’s signature brand of effortless luxury. And for those who seek a taste of this iconic retreat from sunrise, breakfast will feature a selection of pastries and delicacies straight from Hotel Il Pellicano’s fab Pastry Chef.
Meanwhile, at the bar, Il Pellicano’s celebrated mixologist will shake up signature cocktails inspired by the Tuscan coastline – think citrusy, herbaceous, effortlessly refreshing libations that’ll give aperitivo a deliciously vibrant twist. Every element of this weekend, from the table settings to the final spoonful of dessert, will be a study in understated glamour, a testament to how travel, taste, and time-honoured hospitality can intersect in the most unexpected places.
