Every April, Milan comes alive with the Salone del Mobile, a citywide celebration of design that’s often considered as one of the most important creative fairs in the world. Visionary pop-ups, cutting-edge furnishings and innovative installations take over the northern metropolis, as do parties and cocktail events to celebrate it all.
Among the week’s most anticipated soirées, T Magazine’s annual gathering at the storied Villa Necchi Campiglio is possibly the city’s coolest. For a night only, high design and high society seamlessly intertwine in Milan, bringing glam, flare and seriously fun vibes to the iconic 1930s villa. This year, our very own Hotel Il Pellicano joined the revelry, too – a poignant collaboration, as 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of our fab hotel.
The result? A unique blend of iconic Italian hospitality, sophistication and dolce vita charm to the heart of Milan.
A Visionary Setting
Villa Necchi Campiglio, a masterpiece of 1930s Rationalist architecture, set the stage for an evening that transcended the expected. For this year’s party, the site transformed into an immersive dreamscape thanks to the boundary-pushing imagination of designer Misha Kahn, an artist known for his bold fusion of organic forms and futuristic aesthetics.
Kahn reimagined the space as a world where past and future collide, and design is not just observed but experienced. The overall effect was short of breathtaking.
The Il Pellicano Touch
Adding to the evening’s energy was, of course, the presence of Hotel Il Pellicano, our Tuscan retreat by the sea. The hotel travelled from the cliffs of Porto Ercole to the centre of Milan with a pop-up bar, which served as a meeting place for tastemakers, designers, and creatives, offering a taste of our property’s signature (life) style through an expertly crafted cocktail experience.
Superstar barman Federico Morosi, the mastermind behind Il Pellicano’s much-revered drinks menu, presented a selection of signature cocktails that captured the essence of the Mediterranean. The Teller Negroni and Patsy Spritz – both featuring the refined spirits of Bonaventura Maschio – paid homage to the timeless elegance that defines the property, while wines from Feudi di San Gregorio – one of our favourite winemakers in Italy – brought a taste of the Bel Paese’ rich viticultural heritage to the proceedings.

The party was a triumph of Italianità, design, and exquisite vibes – just like all the best celebrations should be.
