Ferragamo’s Creations sandal featuring strips of kidskin on top. In February 1951 Ferragamo patented a new kind of women’s shoe, with a close fitting sock called kimo inspired by the Japanese tabi. Salvatore Ferragamo used this model in 1951, with clothes by Emilio Schuberth, for the first Italian fashion show held in Florence.
