London-based Kim Sion has always found it difficult to explain exactly what she does. After looking into her list of projects, past and present, it’s easy to see why. Over the years, she’s worked as a shopkeeper and written a food blog, been the agent of iconic photographers and served as a curator, gallerist, creative consultant and art director, moonlighting as a ceramist (sort of) in her spare time.
A close friend of ISSIMO and the Pellicano Hotels, we asked her to pick some of her must-haves for winter, from understated bags for a cool day out to cosy blankets to stay snug indoors. Read more below!
ISSIMO Small Pochette
This little clutch is the perfect size to store all my essentials – passport, cards and phone. I love the colour and the navy blue lining, too. I don’t think I would leave home without it!
ISSIMO Il Pellicano Cashmere Blanket
The height of luxury, this plush blanket will definitely be going on my birthday wish list. The logo adds an extra touch of style, of course, as it’s so iconic. A beautiful home piece to cherish.
ISSIMO Cashmere Olive Sweater
Olive is a colour I adore, and the cut of this sweater is fantastic, too. I think it goes with anything – I can even see it thrown over a swimming costume when the sun sets, paired with a pair of flip flops.
Scholl x ISSIMO Pescura Heel
I love this style and the colour of this versatile heel. My mother used to wear these when I was growing up and I will never forget the sound they make when the wood hits the floor.
ISSIMO Baseball Hat Il Pellicano
I am a new member of the baseball cap-wearer crew, so I am keen to add this to my growing collection.
ISSIMO x Choosing Keeping Pomegranate Notebook
I am constantly writing lists, it’s a way of clearing my head. Because of that, I go through so many notebooks with different designs and sizes. This one is just so vibrant, and the craftsmanship really sets it apart. It’s a must-have.
