This year marks the 60th anniversary of Hotel Il Pellicano – you read that right! – and we couldn’t be more excited about it. To kick off the celebrations, we thought we’d ask our CEO and Creative Director Marie-Louise Sciò to do the first ISSIMO edit of 2025. The choice was obvious: No one more than Marie-Louise knows and loves the Pellicano Hotels, and no one more than her is able to point out the most iconic, gorgeous, stylish little items to honour our Porto Ercole pearl.

With its iconic logo, designed in the 1960s by the 14-year old daughter of Michael Graham and Patsy Daszel (the original founders of Il Pellicano), this blanket is a true classic when it comes to paying homage to our hotel. Porto Ercole is a piece of my own heart, and this tee is a fun, stylish way to celebrate that – a must-have souvenir for any Pelli fan! I particularly love its colour, inspired by the deep blue shade of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Wearing it brings me back to Hotel Il Pellicano, regardless of where I am in the world.

ISSIMO Travel Backgammon
I grew up playing backgammon, so I had to include this in my edit. It’s a game that reminds me of summer and of Hotel Il Pellicano. The set we made was crafted by our ISSIMO wizards, and feels a bit more fancy and elegant than the one I had, with the symbolic colours paying a cheeky homage to all three of our hotels. It’s a fantastic, fun piece of timeless luxury.
