Feeling Good, by Name and by Nature

Mezzatorre's new boat makes it easier than ever to explore Ischia your way

Love a boat trip? So do we. There’s something quite special about hopping on a vessel while on vacation, be it for a day cruise or a slow island tour. The wind in your hair, the sea stretching endlessly before you: boats add a touch of summer magic to any holiday

The best rides, though, are rarely the ones with the busiest itinerary.

They're the ones where you stay for one more swim, linger over an aperitivo or decide, on a whim, to see where the coastline takes you. Appropriately named Feeling Good, Mezzatorre's new boat is all about discovering Ischia at your own pace, with tailor-made experiences designed around whatever you're in the mood for.

Forget fixed excursions and one-size-fits-all schedules. Every outing starts with a simple conversation. Fancy breakfast on board as the island wakes up? Done. Want to spend golden hour cruising past Forio with an aperitivo in hand? Easy. Looking for a quiet cove for a swim? Just say the word.

Because no two holidays look the same.

Early birds can head south towards the Castello Aragonese, where sunrise paints the island in soft pastel colours and breakfast somehow tastes even better at sea. From September onwards, when dawn arrives at a more civilised hour, it's one of the most peaceful ways to start the day.

If sunsets are more your thing, set course for Ischia's western coast. As the boat glides past Forio and the Church of Soccorso, the sky puts on its nightly show, best enjoyed with something cold to drink and nowhere else to be.

Of course, the best part is everything in between.

Spend the afternoon swimming, stop wherever looks inviting or simply let the crew shape the day around whatever you're in the mood for. The idea isn't to tick off sights, but to enjoy the island without watching the clock.

The timing couldn't be better. With the America's Cup coming to nearby Naples in 2027, all eyes are turning to the Bay of Naples. If you're already planning next summer's escape, there's a strong case for making time on the water part of it.

At Mezzatorre, the newest arrival isn't just the boat. It's a new way to spend the perfect day in Ischia.
