Jeanette Mix, owner of Stockholm’s eclectic and charming Ett Hem boutique hotel, knows more than a thing or two about enlivening a space with an elegant, unforgettable atmosphere. Inspired by her vibrant memories of many visits to Hotel Il Pellicano, Jeanette shares some of her top ISSIMO picks that bring a smile to her face all year round, and reflect her independently-minded approach to design, interiors and personal style.
“Hotel Il Pellicano has been my go-to hotel for many years, a favourite hotel I have frequently visited with my family and close friends. I even hosted my 50th birthday party there a few years ago. I have so many sweet memories from times spent there.
For me, Hotel Il Pellicano is truly unique. Beautifully located on its dramatic hill overlooking the ocean, it’s elegant and cool, the perfect combination of timeless design and classic Italian luxe at its best. It has an atmosphere that feels glamorous and a bit bohemian, and a loyal group of staff who always recognise you upon arrival.
I love the beautiful tennis court, and the little hotel boutique. I have bought so many special and beautiful pieces there over the years. The boutique itself has always been worth a detour. But now with ISSIMO, I can visit the store online as often as I wish. It’s a great spot for special gifts or inspiration. Here are some of my favourite pieces!”

Coloured glasses always make me happy and give the table setting a fun and informal touch. I also love that the glasses are a perfect example of Italian craftsmanship. They are designed and produced in Tuscany, where the same family has run the Bitossi factory for five generations.

These clogs are my latest obsession. I love the colour, the perfect timeless design and comfort. They are easy to slip on during your time off, and they go with anything. They make the perfect gift to yourself, your mother, sister, daughter or close girlfriends.

I love craft and especially ceramics, and this beautiful piece would be a great decorative touch on any table or side table. Green is also one of my favourite colours. It’s the perfect gift.
